Bidding Information for Staybridge Suites Springfield MO.

• Bidding is now open for this project 07/15/2023.  
• At this time there is no closing date, except that we wish to start issuing necessary contracts by August 08, 2023.   We will not issue any contracts before that date. Bidding will remain open until selection has been made for any particular Trade or Vendor.  We will keep an updated list of open contracts starting on 08/01 or sooner.
• This project is an Owner as General Contractor project utilizing Multiple Prime Trade contracts.  The owner has built and operates multiple hotels, multi-family and retail operations in the State of MO. 
• Hewn LLC will be the Owners Representative managing this project. All Bids, Questions and Communications shall be through Jeff via email Jeff@HewnBuilders.com.  Any direct contact with the owner will result in your bid being dropped. 
• This is an Open Bid process in that all bidders are welcome.
• Bids shall be emailed to Jeff at Hewn LLC. Jeff@HewnBuilders.com.
•  We are actively pursuing bids and our selection process will be a best value system. We will choose the contractor that we believe provides the best value. 
• Bids shall adhere to the plans and specifications, addendums or other written communication. Value Engineering and Substitutions will be considered but will only be accepted by written communication. 
• We will provide proposed Bid Packages along typical sub-contractor lines however packages combining multiple trades is acceptable. 
• The majority of contracts will be lump sum contracts for the specified Work.
• We will not provide hard sets of plans for bidders. 
• The Project is currently in review stage with the City of Springfield MO.  Work is anticipated to start in 3rd quarter of 2023.
• We will not shop bids. We will accept bids at any time until a contracting decision has been made for any particular Trade. If you plan to bid, please send Jeff an email with contact information and proposed Trade Packages and we will attempt to notify you prior to selections that we will be closing out that package. 
• By bidding you accept the risk and cost of doing so.  The Owner and Hewn LLC reserve the right to select any bid at any time that they feel is in their best interest.
